garden consultation
Whether you are new to the area or new to gardening, call on us for a one-hour garden consultation. We can tell you ‘what’s what’ in your garden, give you tips on conserving water in your landscape, or help you determine the best spot for your edible gardening.
design
A step beyond a garden consultation is Design. Grasslands Nursery offers a comprehensive design service that will ensure a successful xeriscape or permascape (combining edibles and ornamentals). Ask to speak to Toni about your design requirements. As head designer, she works with the other on-staff designers to make certain all elements are in place.
installation
Installing a xeriscape or permascape is no more difficult than a ‘traditional’ landscape. However, certain techniques and processes, such as appropriate drip irrigation for plant type or species or mulching correctly is critical for a successful low-maintenance, waterwise landscape. Grasslands Nursery’s landscape installers are trained in proper installation of xeriscape and permascape.
maintenance
If you are not a gardener, are crunched for time, or unable to tend to your garden for any reason, call Grasslands Nursery. Our maintenance staff — all experienced gardeners with horticultural education — can do wonders with your landscape.
